Girl Shot in Chicago's Logan Square Neighborhood: Police



A juvenile girl was critically wounded in a shooting in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood Monday evening. 
The girl was shot just after 8 p.m. in the 2100 block of North Bingham Street. Police say she was in front of a home when a vehicle approached and someone inside opened fire in her direction. 
She was taken by a relative to St. Mary’s Hospital with a gunshot wound to the back, police said. She was later transferred to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County where she was listed in critical condition, authorities said.
Neighbors have said the girl is 7 years old but authorities said an exact age wasn't known.
